Horncastle village has sites of archaelogical interst, dating back to Roman and Medieval times.

At nearby Kiedler you can find The Falconry Experience, where you can try hawking days or courses (both of which we can arrange). Also Sweethope Lough offers fly-fishing of brown and rainbow trout (rods required)

Northumbria and Scottish Borders

As well as world famous Hadrian's Wall and the beautiful Holy Island, we are also near to Kielder Forest/Water, Hexham Abbey, picturesque Belsay Castle and Gardens

North of the Border, but still within easy reach you can find lovely market town Jedburgh, Hawick Woolen Mills, Maderson and Mellerstein
